The final conference organised as part of the three-year project funded by the European Union, took place in Lyon in 2009. Delegates from 18 countries attended to share the latest ideas and innovation in the world of Fairtrade Towns. International representatives from Ghana, Peru and Brazil also attended, interested in exploring what a Fairtrade Town would look like in their home country.
